Hi, I’m Katie.

I’ve been in love with pasta my entire life, and lucky for me growing up in an Italian family meant lots of pasta! My favorite holidays growing up were Christmas & Easter – and it had nothing to do with the gifts and everything to do with the pasta. I studied abroad in Florence, Italy where I took an Italian Language & Cooking class; this class is where I fell in love with cooking & making my own recipes.

It all started in 2020, when I had the opportunity to take over 100 eggs that were to go to waste due to a cafe that had to close. I took this as my sign to officially launch my pasta business, delivering fresh pasta around San Diego!

Over the years, I transitioned to hosting pasta parties and workshops around town, while sharing simple pasta tutorials and recipes to my page, Buona Pasta Club. I published my very first cookbook, Buona Pasta: Fresh Pasta Made Easy With or Without a Machine in 2025, which you can find in the cookbook tab of my website!

Buona Pasta Club has quickly turned into a pasta loving community where I share the simplicity of the pasta making process, replacing intimidation with inspiration & helping you get the courage to start making pasta at home!
